When is it Time to Get a Disabled Lift? Part Two

30 September 2011

In many cases, getting residential lifts or an incline platform for your home can feel like something of a surrender – like you are surrendering to old age and admitting defeat. However you really shouldn't look at it like that at all – rather it is just something that you are using to make day to day life easier and to keep you safer.

If you have a wheelchair, then clearly you already use this as a tool to get around. Someone who is in good health might use a bike and at the end of the day they both have the same purpose – to help you get places more quickly and efficiently than they otherwise would. A residential lift is no different than this – it is merely a practical solution to a frustrating problem that will let you get to your upstairs rooms more quickly and easily than you otherwise could. If it lets you do more, and lets you be more efficient, and lets you stay upright for longer... then why not use an incline platform to help you get around?
