When is it Time to Get a Disabled Lift? Part Ten

30 September 2011

Without home lifts, things like this would be impossible and you would not be able to go up the stairs with anything in your hands at all, drastically reducing the use you'll get out of your home.

Another way in which not having any home lifts might effect other people in your home is if you end up relying on them too much due to the fact that you are unable to get up and down the stairs. This would then leave you calling them when you needed food or drink in bed, and sending them to fetch things. Apart from anything else this might put a strain on your relationship.

Perhaps you don't need the disabled lift now then, but by getting it installed you can prevent these problems from occurring and improve your health, safety and happiness. At the same time you'll prevent yourself becoming a burden to others, and will be able to use the home lifts for many other purposes. If you're thinking of getting one eventually then you might as well get one now and get the maximum amount of use from it and save yourself potential problems. It's better to be safe than sorry so contact a lift manufacturer ASAP.
