When is it Time to Get a Disabled Lift? Part One

30 September 2011

If you're getting into old age and if you're starting to struggle getting up the stairs, or if you are dealing with problems like back issues or arthritis, then you might be starting to struggle to get up the stairs. In this case you have the obvious option of disabled lifts which are essentially elevators that go inside your home and are designed to carry wheel chairs or to allow you to sit in. These will then take the effort of walking up the stairs for you and ensure that you can make a smooth ride to the top. If you use a wheelchair to get around the house, then getting disabled lifts are a highly good idea – why would you wheel around your home when you have the benefit of being on level ground, only to then get out of your wheelchair and go it alone at the point where it becomes most difficult?

If you are not in a wheelchair though, then getting residential lifts might be a slightly more subjective call and you might not necessarily know whether it is yet necessary.
